Pack Committee & Leaders

The pack committee is made of parents and other volunteers who work together to ensure an excellent program for all scouts in the pack. All parents in the pack are encouraged to participate. The committee works with the Cubmaster and den leaders to make sure they are well-trained and have all the tools they need for their roles. It also works with the chartering organization representative to provide facilities for meetings and coordinate programs. The committee meets monthly and all parents are welcome to attend. Weekly meetings are impossible without dedicated leaders heading up the dens and ensuring that the scouts are learning and participating in the program.  The following are our leaders and assistants.

Contacting Leaders

All leaders are available for contact through Scoutbook. Usually they will also provide their phone or email address for you to contact them directly. If you cannot reach a leader, please contact the Cubmaster for assistance.

Training

Volunteers and leaders must renew their Safeguarding Youth Training annually. That training and all position-specific training is available on myScouting. See more information on Training here. 

Volunteer Registration

Are you interested in volunteering? First, THANK YOU! Next, to ensure the best and safest program for our scouts, all adult volunteers should register with our unit. The follow steps outline how to do that.

(1) Setup Online Account

Before completing registration, you will need to setup an online account with Scouting America.

⚠️ If you registered your youth online, you may already have an account, just try logging into myScouting.

(2) Take Safeguarding Youth Training

Volunteers must take Safeguarding Youth Training before registering. Leaders will also need to take Hazardous Weather training as soon as possible after registering. The training and all position-specific training is available on myScouting. See instructions on how to take the Training here. 

(3) Register as Adult Volunteer

There is a $91 fee to register as a volunteer. 

Please note that the  annual fee to be an adult volunteer covers background checks and insurance. If you need financial assistance, please reach out to the Cubmaster or Committee Chair.
